My country boy! I love him!

I am just a little country girl. I never want to much for myself so little things make me so happy. Today something made me smile from ear to ear ... You never want to plan on what you hope your kids will grow up to be but in the back of your mind you have hopes or the way you see them in the years to come. this morning Sage came out of his bedroom dressed in all camo with his belt and gun in holster and said " goin outside to kill deer and shot bad guys and put them in jail" I died laughing and outside he went hiding behind the trees etc. It was just to cute. He can grow up and be a little smart dork and I will love him from head to toe. but as of now at 3 years old he is a little country boy and fits right into our little country town that I love so much. I could never live in a big city somewhere I just couldn't . I have the have the country. Wes doesn't even get to hunt so Sage has picked up hunting by his buddies Payton and Zack little country boys. Sage would wear his camo every flipping day if I let him but we have to wash the cloths sometime.. ha ... one thing he does have to wear daily is his camo chevrolet hat.. Its like his prize possesion.. anyways just a little cute story of my boy who is always making me laugh.

A baby on the way.. (not mine) :)

Well this past Saturday I had my cousin Renee a shower here at my house. Me and Renees friend Heather threw the shower for her. It was a nice , fun time sharing this awesome special event in Renee's life. We cannot wait for little Wade to arrive. I wonder what he will look like. Haylee with her baby blues and white hair... You wonder if he will be dark headed , dark eyes etc. Either way he will be just a doll. Wes was supposed to watch the kids the day of the shower and he ended up working and that threw me all off wack. They were good but still they were there and I couldn't 100% focus on Renee I felt bad :( Sorry Renee just wait your fixing to be a mommy of 2 you'll know. ha Anyways Renee I hope you had a great shower and got a lot of your favoite things for little Wade. He will be here in less than a month .. Can you believe it? I can't, we waited and prayed for you and Chris another baby and that time took forever and now that your prego its flown by! Love ya... Our little boy is now THREE

On Jan 10.. Our Sage turne Three years old. I do have to ask .. Why do they grow up so fast. ? It hit me really really hard to think about all this when his birthday week rolled around. On his Birthday day we started off with a cinn roll for breakfast and he said where is my tandle (candle) so we had to put a candle on his cinn roll and sing.. we also had a very huge playdate at Monkey Joes with his friends, Payton, Georgia, Bricen, Carter, Katie, Garrett, and their mommies which are my friends. We had a blast . The place was practically empty and we had it all to ourself. Sage really gets to release all his wildness in that place for sure. On our way home we stopped and ate at chic fil a with Jackie and Bricen. Marli and Sage both passed out for there naps on the way home. YAY.... After nap I got Sage's Birthday supper ready. As I cooked I let Sage make his Birthday cookies the way he wanted to.. and he just wanted one huge cookie.. So thats what he did and thats what he got .. and yes candles had to go on it as well .. but hey I love birthdays so I wasn;t stopping him at all. After the Birthday song again. We let him open his presents and this year he was just a little ball of fun.. He has the wildest , funniest personality ever. He is not a quiet, still , or calm boy . But, hey life is not boring. His new thing is tackleing people well kids his age.. This is due to the fact that him and Wes wrestle all the time and are so rough with each other . Wes said he is tuffing him up so he ain't a wheenie.. MEN?DADDIES with their boys.. Crazy huh? Well I do have to say he is a little tough. But some kids want to play rough and some don't so hard to draw the line. His birthday was the 10th but on the 19th we had his party at our church in the COAC building . He picked the theme CARS.Lightning Mcqueen. We rented a huge slide and the kids had a ball So enjoy the pics and my little wild man had a great birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!

The last day of 2007 and first of 2008.. Happy New Year

Can I say lazy.... We have been such home bodies since christmas .. I think we are wore out and everyone getting over the ugly cold cough wes, Sage, and Marli had. so keeping everyone in has done the job I think.. I hope....... I hate I am such a germ phobe but I had when my babies are sick.. makes me sad and I hate giving it to others.. For new years since this house was snotting and coughing we stayed home and watched movies all day long and played withthe kids.. Sage enjoyed having daddy home all day!!!!! After the long day we put the kids to bed and Wes and I enjoyed some movies we rented on TV.. Wes's eyes started shuttin about 5 min before it was the new year so I woke him up and said hey ready to count down and he said yes and sat up. 5 4 3 2 1 and we kissed happy new year then went to bed and passed out. ha ha were old.. On new years day Wes took Sage over to ride 4 wheelers at bricens old house (with lots of land) .. Bricen, Payton, Sage and Sullivan had a ball. I hope everyone had a safe and happy new year. I haven't quite but my finger on my resulution but in general get organized more, etc.. I want to lose 10 lbs before my sisters wedding in May.. I am fine where I am.. I didn't starve pregnant so I would keep my little figure I loved being pregnant and eating powdered donuts.. etc. ha so the 10 if thats all I hve to work on it was so worth gaining. ha ha those donuts were so good too. Christmas with Wes's Dad (G-PA)

So Wes's daddy came into town from traveling for work. He came over Sunday evening along with his 2 younger children Hudson 12 and Heidi 10.. Wes's brother and sisters came also. Shelley, JJ , Jen , and Beka. We ordered Pizza from papa johns and enjoyed our Christmas with him. We stayed up late talking and went to bed. When we woke up Wes was cooking us up a good ole breatfast with everything. He has been loving cooking some breakfast and I love it too. I do miss courneys on Sat mornings I love that place .. Everyone got dressed and off Toms and the kids went .. It was nice and a good time catchin up with him.

Merry Christmas !!!!!!!

AWWWW .. What fun are kids at Christmas time... After the kids got up about 7:30am .. We went into the living room and Sage just stared .. He came Santa came mommy and daddy.. Look!!!!!!! then he had to ck and see if he drank his milk and ate his cookies, and wanted to see if the carrots at been eaten also.. So we went on the porch and sure enough the carrots were nibbled all over the porch and sidewalk and down the drive way and the sleigh and rain deer dropped a reign and a bell ..wow.. Sage couldn't believe his eyes.. So we come in and he dug in ... He loved tearing open paper LOVED IT.... its so different this year than last .. he really go into it big time. After he opened something he would hand it to us and say put it in my my pile then after about the 5th gift he said put this in my BIG pile.. I got a bigger pile than sissy.. I have mow.. ha ha Sissy jumped right in and played all over her new toys ..... Santa couldnt wrap a lot of hers cause they were just to big so he was nice enought to put them together and sit them out.Sage got of course tractor trailors, wheelies, a school bus tent, leap frog leapster, 2 games, wackamole, memory, books, candy, wallet, mac mega blocks(he loved) , 3 movies, I think i forgot some sorry, Marli got a step 2 push car that we can push her in, a pull up table to play on that helps her learn her abcs, books, blocks, a choo choo, a playwall, tunnel, a babydoll, barn, etc.... Wes was good to me like he always is when its gift giving time. thats why i fell for him. just kidding but he really is a good shopper and gift giver.esp after our 5 yr anniv when i got my anniv wedding band. so he said he couldn't top that but he hoped i loved everything. I got an Ann Klein watch, a visa gift card to wheir I want, :) 2 frames, necklace, earrings, 600 thread count sheets that i have been wanting,renewed my xm radio in my car yay..,, and 2 pair of shoes, ok funny story about the shoes, well 1 pair of them. I have been looking for a tall pair of black boots to wear with my dresses and capris but i havne' tfell in love with a pair yet or had time to go lookin, well he tried but i opened them and and i couldn't help but laugh and he said you said you needed tall black boots but unless i worked on the, corner somwhere in charlotte then I wont be wearing these around her unless it behinds our closed doors. ha ha they look just like hooker boots they are shiny black and the tallest heel you can get. ha but he said i thought you might not like them I thought htye looked hookerish. but i didn't know they had a million diff black boots out there. poor thing .. its the thought right. He is boring he told me some ideas of things he needed or wanted so I got him the oh so wonderful pressure washer. how boring huh? he loves that stuff ... After we opened gifts Wes cooked us a very nice breakfast.. Sausage, bacon , eggs, toast, grits, liver mush, good hubby huh? Daddy came over and ate with us and played with the kids.. they love their pawpaw.. he calls them peadab and pebbles.. since the day they were born that their pawpaw nick names.. After our almost a whole day at home we got ready and went to the Howards side for food and fellowship.... I love seeing all my cousins.. Kelly just had a baby and so their was a newborn to adore, Renee is prego so baby boom time again.. Marli was everywhere and Sage was just as wild as can be... I think he is deaf cause he don't listen to me.. :( the 3's are gonna be a lot worse than 2 I felt we accolmplished the 2's really well... He leared well , know how to count to 10 then goes to 11teen.. yes he made up that number. ha know's his abc really well except l,m.n o p.. he just says na na p.. sooo cute. spells his name, knows his phone number, knows where we live, our names, but goodness he is almost 3 and doesn't hear a thing we say and is acting stubborn.. I love him to death and he is the cutest most precious boy to me but everyone warned me aobut the 3's .. I think there right.. He loves to argue facts with me about thats hot sage. no its not mommy its cold. doing it just to drive me crazy and says I am so funny ain't i mommy.. what do you say.. when he is lookin at you with that smurk that is adorable.. ha over all Christmas was great. Marli's first and Sage's 3rd one... I cna't believe it.. Time flies.. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Twas the Night before Christmas ......

Christmas Eve... Where do I begin? First~ The kids have really snotty noses and bad coughs so that stunk but they acted like they felt okay every one has had or has this mess. We woke up and got ready to go to Gigi's and Poppops house (wes's parents) in Shelby. We did lunch and then Pop Pop read the Bible story and we wore necklaces with bells that were made and rang them and said we believe ... The kids loved this. Sage and Ryan couldn't wait. Sage is almost 3 and Ryan will be 4 this month. They were too funny. Sage wants to copy every thing Ryan does.. I mean everything. Sage doesn't care for sweets like cake etc but Ryan got choc eclair and so Sage wanted some so instead of starting an argument of wether he liked it or not I just let him see for himself. He said Ryan I don't like dis... Ryan said just makbelieve you do and eat it like me.. We died laughing.. Kids are so funny.. esp Ryan he is like an adult trapped inside a kids body.. After we ate we started with gift.. Talk about gifts.. This is a family with 7 children with husbands and wives and kids now.. there was noroom to walk literally... no where... We passed out gifts and watched the boys first... The boys got their first radio flyer scooter they loved them... They loved tearing into wrapping paper LOVED IT WAY TO MUCH.. I couldn't tell what all Sage got until they were done and I could look.. ha .... He got that scooter, a wilson baseball backpack with a leather glove and ball, a real tool set with REAL tools (I am nervous but sage loves it) .. , pj's, cloths, a metal dooly truck with a horse trailer loaded with horses and cows, a john deere tractor, books, games etc.. I cna't remember it all.. Marli got stuffed animals , a push toy she can ride on, a game for the tv by leapfrog, cloths, pj's , etc.. This was her first Christmas eve so that was special. Wes's sister Shelley is 5 mths prego and thats really neat that well have a new baby next year too for its first Christmas .. She finds out Jan 2 what the sex is.. We are just toooooo sad that her and Alex live in Texas.. like 2 days worth of driving away.. SUCKS!!! This was wes's brother JJ and Jens first Christmas as husband and wife. SWEET!!! Wes's grandmother Mama Happy flew her from TN to be with all of us this year.. We usually go there sometime in Dec so that was nice having her here with us.. After we left there around 4:30 we had to be at my mommas and Joels at 5 for early supper . We did Italian to change it up some ... We chose 5 so we could eat , open gifts play and get home at a decent time to bake cookies, wrap , and get ready for Santa. So we ate at mommas, then opened gifts Sage got his dump truck he has been wanting.. and some more wheeley to play with .. he loves those things.. pj's,dale earnhardt jr tractor trailor , Marli got pj's , a beautiuful piggy bank , a leapfrog toy with farm animals, a robe, ... We played then headed home .. Sage and I baked Santa some greatly decorated cookies with red and green m&m's ... Sage was just to excited.. Put out carrots for the raindeer then he decided to put out water for them too.. cute huh? We wrote Santa a letter and put it at the fire place with the cookies and milk. Sage had to test the milk and cookies too :) then I took some pics before bed of them in their Christmas Pj's and off the bed they went with a nice Christmas story... their asleep wonder whats Santas doing.. :)
